We’re Global Food Business Network
GET TO KNOW ABOUT US
The Global Food Business Network is an international forum for the Food Business stakeholders to constructively engage, share ideas and grow through effective peer to peer networks located across the world.
This includes all players from food producers, food processors and food distributors, i.e. from “from farm to fork.” The network seeks to connect businesses, build new relationships, share best practices, support and foster new opportunities amongst stakeholders and ensure a common cause to provide safe and nutritious food for the global community through sustainable practices.
Our Background
Food is the basic necessity of life which is essential to good health and well-being. Food is a vital part of most communities, it depicts as a stronghold of most family traditions, cultural and social activities. The demands for food are constantly increasing with urbanization in communities, increased wealth and an enlarged world population. The production of food involves various resource-intensive stages which if not carefully monitored may create diseases, degrade the environment and even harm the population.
Our History
The Global Food Business Network emerged in 2022, a time when the world was recovering from one of the biggest global pandemic, Covid-19. The network was formed after a realization of the need to be true global citizens after an experience of massive vulnerabilities and imbalances in the food business sector in the global community. The need for increased self-isolation, new technology, better products and delivery for food products brought a reality that, collaboration is imperative despite our nationality, race and color in order to survive. The pandemic came as a wakeup call forcing people to think in a different manner and foster change.
